“Standard commercial renovations rely on straight lines, but this Pet Hotel in Setia Alam required a softer, more playful approach. YK Plaster was tasked with constructing structural curved walls and irregular ‘organic’ window cutouts to match the ‘Paw Spa’ branding.”

The Challenge: The design featured amorphous, paw-like viewing windows cut directly into the partition walls. The challenge was not just cutting the shape, but framing it securely to hold heavy tempered glass while maintaining a smooth, seamless edge that looks like a single molded piece.

The Solution: We utilized flexible metal tracks and reinforced framing to create the skeleton of the curves. The drywall was precision-cut and meticulously stopped to ensure the curves flowed naturally without jagged edges. The final result is a clean, modern space where the walls themselves act as a design feature, separating the grooming area from the waiting lounge while maintaining visual connectivity.
